Acer ConceptD 3 and 3 Ezel: These are the New Computers for Creators

Acer has just renewed its ConceptD line of computers, a line designed exclusively for content creators who seek portability while at the same time power and versatility. On this occasion, the manufacturer has chosen to present two models, one with a folding screen and another with a more traditional laptop format. Both versions are powered by tenth-generation Intel processors and new-wave Nvidia GTX graphics cards.

Unique Design in two different Formats

In physical terms, the computers are not much different from the ConceptD 7 series. The Acer ConceptD 3 Ezel features a folding screen format that is not only foldable but also Pantone-certified and meets 100% of the sRGB color spectrum. In terms of its display specifications, the computer features a 14- and 15.6-inch panel, Full HD resolution, TFT IPS technology, and 400 nits maximum brightness.

The same specifications are found in ConceptD. The only difference is the format, which complies with what we know today as a conventional laptop. In other words, it doesn’t have a flip-top screen.

Where we do find a somewhat more tangible difference is in the weight and thickness. While the ConceptD 3 is over 2.3 and 2.4 centimeters thick and weighs 1.7 and 2 kilograms, the ConceptD 3 is only 1.8 centimeters thick and weighs 1.4 and 1.7 kilograms in its two-screen versions.

Up to 20 Hours of Market, the latest in the Market

Acer has equipped these two laptops with the latest in technology. Both computers have several RAM, storage, processor, and graphics options.

Specifically, the company allows customers to choose between two processor options based on the 10th generation Intel Core i5 10300H and Intel Core i7 10750H. RAM is scalable up to 16 GB DDR4 type, while storage is based on a single SSD in M.2 PCIe format. As for the graphics options, the manufacturer opts for three versions based on the consumer’s own needs: Intel UHD, Nvidia GTX 1650 Ti, and Nvidia GTX 1650.

With all these specifications on the table, Acer promises to extend the autonomy of its two computers to 15 and 18 hours for the ConceptD 3 Ezel and 16 and 20 hours for the standard ConceptD 3, according to the versions and configurations chosen.

Price and Availability of the Acer ConceptD 3 and 3 Ezel

Acer has confirmed that the two computers will go on sale in September and October for $1,700 and $2,000 respectively.
