Amazfit T-Rex Pro: Features, Reviews, and Price

Huami, the Asian wearables company behind the Amazfit smartwatches, has unveiled a new model. It is the Amazfit T-Rex Pro, which is postulated as the most resistant sports watch in its catalog to date. For this, it boasts military certification, but also an AMOLED screen, blood oxygen saturation reading, or 18 days of autonomy among other things.

As its name suggests, the Amazfit T-Rex Pro is an improved version of the T-Rex, a smartwatch that they presented last year. Both models have a very important strength and durability focus, although there are certain differences between the two.

Pro in functions and resistance

As we have indicated, the Amazfit T-Rex Pro follows in the footsteps of the T-Rex while maintaining a similar design and similar features. However, it brings several improvements to place itself a step above and receive the Pro nickname. Among these improvements are better resistance and software features to do more things with it.

The watch comes with a 360×360 pixel, 1.3-inch AMOLED display. This circular screen is accompanied by four side buttons and a metal frame, although the watch body itself is made of polycarbonate. The strap is made of silicone with a width of 22 mm.

In the health section, Amazfit says that the watch can detect up to 100 different sports. Its various sensors allow during these sports to monitor heart rate, movement, blood oxygen saturation or calories burned approximately among other things. At night it also continues to work, with its sensors can detect light, deep, and REM sleep.

When connecting, it has GPS and three other geopositioning systems along with Bluetooth. With this, it can accurately record a training route even if the cell phone is not nearby and connected. Here is the time to mention the battery and autonomy of the watch, with 390 mAh it can offer 18 days of use, but this is reduced to half if there are intensive use and only 40 hours with GPS always running. As for charging, it only takes an hour and a half.

Finally, there is its resistance, the feature for which the T-Rex Pro boasts the most. In principle, it can withstand temperatures between -40 and 70 degrees Celsius. It can be 240 hours in humid conditions without leaking liquids and saline environments up to 96 hours. Its water resistance is 10 ATM. The watch has received MIL-STD military certification.
