Far Cry 6, the new game of the Ubisoft franchise, had its minimum requirements to run on PC released on Thursday (2). The specifications range from more modest machines to more powerful computers, capable of running the game in 4K with Ray Tracing enabled. The title is scheduled for release on October 7 with downloads for PlayStation 5 (PS5), Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4 (PS4), Xbox One, Google Stadia, and PC (via Ubisoft Store and Epic Games Store).

Following the open-world style of the franchise, the game bets on the bloodthirsty villains Diego and Antón Castillo (played by Giancarlo Esposito, from Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul). The game can already be purchased on pre-order on the platforms for $59.99. In the versions for PlayStation and Xbox, the game also costs $59.99.

Additional options

Far Cry 6

In the publication that revealed the specifications, Ubisoft took the opportunity to share some of the advanced options that will be available in the PC version of Far Cry 6. The highlight is the unlocked fps (frame rate per second), which allows players to use the power of their computers to run the game more smoothly.

Far Cry 6 will also be compatible with multiple monitor setups and with ultrawide resolutions, allowing the map view to be expanded with the additional space. The game will also have its benchmark tool (used to measure the performance of the computer) and options for detailed configuration of mouse and keyboard and joysticks.
