FIFA 21 Champions Edition, Beckham Edition, and more: Learn all About the Versions

FIFA 21 is on sale in different versions: Champions Edition, Beckham, Ultimate, and Legacy. The latest Electronic Arts soccer simulator title is available for PlayStation 4 (PS4), Xbox One, PC (Steam and Origin), Google Stadia, and Nintendo Switch, with versions optimized for the new consoles, Xbox Series S/Series X, and PlayStation 5 (PS5).

With new gameplay and new features in game modes, FIFA 21 comes in four different editions, which guarantee fans special items, such as loans from famous players. See below the difference between each package and its prices for each platform.

Beckham Edition

Beckham Edition

The Digital Standard Edition (i.e. the standard) is being called “FIFA 21 Beckham Edition”. This is because the former English player is one of the footballers present in the version, and works as an untradeable item in FUT mode. Also, in Volta Mode, the star will be one of the “Innovators”, who are usable personalities in electronic court soccer, along with Lewis Hamilton (Formula 1 driver), Patrick Mahomes (NFL player), Dua Lipa (singer), and Fred (influence and presenter).

All versions of the soccer simulator are on promotion, with discounts that can be used until the beginning of December. FIFA 21 Edition Beckham is $59.99 on PS4, $59.99 on Xbox One, $59.99 on Steam, and $ 174.46 on Origin.

Champions Edition

Champions Edition

The FIFA 21 Champions Edition provides players with the same items as the previous version, with the addition of up to 10 Rare Gold packages (one per week for 10 weeks), Local Talent in Career Mode, stadium items, and artists’ uniforms from the FUT soundtrack.

This version also includes one FUT Ambassador item on loan (Alexander-Arnold, João Félix, or Haaland on loan for three games) and French striker Kylian Mbappé for five matches in the FUT Mode. The FIFA 21 Champions Edition costs $35.99 on PS4, $79.99 on Xbox One, and $79.99 on Steam.

Ultimate Edition

Ultimate Edition

FIFA 21 Ultimate Edition is the most expensive and offers everything from the previous ones, with the addition of up to 20 Rare Gold packages (two per week for 10 weeks), instead of the 10 in the Champions version. Another difference is that if the player subscribes to EA Play Pro, he will receive XP impulses from the start of the season, as well as recurring rewards in the course of the season.

In this and all other editions, EA also offers the “Dual Entitlement”. This is a benefit that will deliver, free of charge, the enhanced version of FIFA 21 to the next generation consoles. The Ultimate Edition costs $99.99 on PS4, $99.99 on Xbox One, and $99.99 on Steam.

Legacy Edition

Legacy Edition

FIFA 21 Legacy Edition is exclusive to Nintendo Switch. The game does not have any of the items offered for other platforms. By the way, the game is FIFA 20 with the squad and uniform updates, besides a new visual identity for menus and interface.

EA itself highlights this condition on its page and warns that the title has no “relevant improvements or enhancements”. Even the game modes are the same as the previous game. FIFA 21 Legacy Edition is costing $49.99 on Amazon.
