When is the Launch Date?
The launch of FIFA 21 is confirmed for PS4, Xbox One, and PC on the 9th of October, but fans have some ways to play the game on these platforms before the date. By pre-selling the game in its special “Champions Edition”, you can start playing three days before all other players from the 6th of October. Subscribers of EA Access (PS4 and Xbox One) or Origin Access (PC) have access to the version of the “Early Access Test” of the game from the 1st of October.
It is not yet known when the game will be available on PS5 and Xbox Series X, but it is possible that the release is on both platforms. The two next-generation videogames arrive at the end of 2020 but do not yet have a date set.

FIFA 21 will be launched on all the platforms already mentioned, but there are some more details about some of them. The PC version of the game will be based on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions, without the improvements of the new generation of consoles.
The videogame versions will be released with an upgrade possibility called “Double Right”. When you buy the game on PlayStation 4, you can also receive the PlayStation 5 version, as well as when you buy it on Xbox One you can receive the Xbox Series X version. You can upgrade at any time until the launch of FIFA 22.
During the live release of the FIFA 21 trailer, EA Sports exhibited a small trailer with clips of FIFA 21 and Madden NFL 21 on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X. There is a small warning at the bottom of the screen, however, which warns that these are graphics in the “engine” of the game. This means that the trailer was created with the same technology that will be used to display the game visuals, but does not necessarily reflect the final version of the product.
What modes will be available?
For now, there is little information about the gameplay of FIFA 21. Electronic Arts have announced that they will show more about it in August. However, some modes have already been confirmed, such as Career mode, the return of Volta mode, Pro Clubs, and of course FIFA Ultimate Team. Users can even start playing the game on PS4 or Xbox One and then transfer their progress to PS5 and Xbox Series X.
