The new generation of AMD was introduced at the beginning of the year and it is increasingly common to see them in new laptops. Now it is the Honor MagicBook, and its competitive price, which introduces the latest AMD CPUs.

The Honor MagicBook 14 and 15 represent the company’s most popular laptop model. We have two laptops with aluminum bodies and quite stylish dimensions. Both models feature FullHD panels, 14 and 15.6 inches respectively.

Honor offers options of 8 or 16 GB of DDR4 RAM along with hard disks starting from the 256 GB SSD. But the main novelty is found in the processor chosen. The Honor MagicBook finally adds the new AMD Ryzen 4000 series, specifically the AMD Ryzen 5 4500U model. A step ahead of the Ryzen 5 3500U we had so far.

It features a fingerprint reader, a 720p camera under the keyboard, and a battery ranging from 42Wh to 56Wh. Its official price is not confirmed at the moment, but it is expected to maintain its previous price of 549 euros for the 15.6-inch model.

Honor’s most high-end model has also been updated to incorporate the new AMD processors. The Honor MagicBook Pro 2020 was introduced in May 2020 with Intel Core chipsets, but now a new version with the Ryzen 4000 series is being introduced taking advantage of the IFA conference.

This is a laptop with a 16.1″ screen and quite thin frames. Its total weight is 1.7 kilograms and the company promises a screen ratio of 90%, with edges of only 4.9 millimeters.

Accompanying the processor are 16 GB of RAM, 512 GB of storage, and a 56 Wh battery. But the protagonist this time is the AMD Ryzen 5 4600H, accompanied by AMD Radeon Mobile graphics with six cores at 1.5 MHz.

The Honor MagicBook Pro comes with HDMI ports, USB type C, three USB 3.2 ports, and a backlit keyboard. Its official price is €899.9 ($1,063) and can be purchased from October.
