Huawei MatePad T 10s: Features, Reviews, and Price

Today the day is marked by the presentation of the great brands at the virtual event of the IFA in Berlin. The last one to join the technology fair calendar is Huawei, who just a few minutes ago launched the Huawei MatePad T 10s (or MatePad T10S in some markets), a tablet that has arrived to be placed in the Asian company’s access catalog without directly influencing its technical characteristics. It has a multimedia section powered by a 10.1-inch screen and a stereo speaker system ideal for playing series and movies.

10.1 Inch Screen, Metal Design, and Sound by Harman Kardon

The Huawei access tablet has a 10.1-inch IPS panel, Full HD+ resolution, and a 16:10 ratio, a ratio that allows combining productivity tasks with content reproduction (video and image).

Made of a metal alloy with enhanced edges, the tablet has two stereo speakers signed by Harman Kardon. The screen, by the way, covers 70% of the NTSC color spectrum and is an eye protection mode certified by TÃœV Rheinland to protect your eyes from the blue light of the screens. In the sound section, we find the Huawei Histen 6.1 system to improve the sound environment.

Still Without Google Services

The technical section of the Huawei MatePad T 10s is managed by a low-end processor, the Kirin 710A, accompanied by two versions of 2 and 32 GB and 3 and 64 GB with the possibility of expansion through micro SD cards up to 512 GB. It also has a 5,100 mAh battery, as well as WiFi 5, Bluetooth 5.1, and a wired connection via USB type C.

As usual, the tablet lacks Google services, although it has Android 10 with EMUI 10.1, the latest version of Huawei’s customization layer. This last one has added options such as App Multiplier, a function that allows users to play with different windows at the same time horizontally, and Huawei MeeTime, Huawei’s video call application that promises to offer the highest image quality between the brand’s devices even if the coverage is not accompanied.

Simple Cameras for a Simple Tablet

The Huawei MatePad T 10s uses two cameras in its back and front 5 and 2 megapixels. The two sensors have a focal aperture of f/2.2 and f/2.4, enough to take pictures of documents. It is not known if the front camera has a face unlocking system, although everything points to the fact that it does not if we take its low resolution as a reference.
