The Nova 5i Pro’s design is made of glass, with a rough touch and the four cameras as the main element. This time it does not have an integrated fingerprint reader, but a physical reader at the back that breaks the minimalism of the device a bit but will offer a more stable experience.

The screen chosen is a 6.26-inch LTPS LCD panel with FullHD + resolution and a small hole in the upper left corner where the front camera is located. It is a different design to the one Huawei has in its P30.

Kirin 810 and up to 8GB of RAM

Inside the Huawei Nova 5i Pro, the new Huawei processor is introduced that will expand through its mid-range during the second half of 2019. The Kirin 810 is a 7-nanometer chipset that promises a great capacity in artificial intelligence and It also features the six-core Mali G52 GPU.

The RAM has two versions – a base model with 6GB and a more advanced one with 8GB. The storage comes with 128GB and there is also a 256GB version. As in other models, the Nova 5i Pro comes with memory card slot, it is NMCard technology and not the usual microSD.

With the USB Type-C port, the phone can be charge quickly as it supports fast-charging up to 20W. Android 9 Pie and EMUI 9.1 are the systems featured in the software. While at the connectivity level we will have Bluetooth 5.0, 3.5mm jack and WiFi ac.

The four cameras are spread across the Huawei product

For the photographic section, we have a feature of four cameras in an arrangement similar to the Mate 20 Pro, although with a lower technical quality as is logical considering its price. The main sensor is a 48-megapixel sensor with an f / 1.8 aperture lens. Secondly, the wide-angle is an 8-megapixel sensor. Finally, there are two extra sensors of two megapixels each for depth and macro effects.
