Four Cameras for the Mid-range Device

The camera section is, nowadays, one of the most important in a mobile device. Huawei knows this, which is why it has equipped the Huawei P40 Lite with four sensors at its back. The camera set is designed to compete with rivals in price such as the Samsung Galaxy A51. In the rear there are four cameras: the main one has a size of 48 megapixels and its focal point is 1.8, the secondary one is 8 megapixels and it is a super wide-angle lens with 120 degrees of aperture, the third one is for the macro and it is 2 megapixels, the fourth and last one is 2 megapixels to help to take pictures with portrait effect. The front camera is a single 16-megapixel sensor with a focal aperture 2.0.

The main camera sensor is of good resolution and will use pixel grouping technology (grouping four pixels into one to create a larger one) to improve the accuracy of the images. We have a conspicuous absence, no telephoto sensor. That’s strange since Huawei has opted for devices with cameras with a lot of zooms. Instead, we have the macro, an interesting sensor that will delight photographers who like to see the world through a magnifying glass. Also, improvements are coming via software. The artificial intelligence will manage to improve the pictures taken, it will also detect the scenes and adjust parameters to get the best picture.

Kirin 810 Processor, 4.200 mAh Battery, and 40W Fast Charging

A Kirin 810 processor built in 7 nanometers, with a Mali G52 GPU. As for storage and RAM, there are 128 GB and 6 GB respectively, the internal memory can be expanded, but for that, we will need an NMCard. The crown jewel of this device is its battery, the 4,200 mAh will be more than enough to get you through the day. For more demanding users, the 40W supercharge will be able to charge the Huawei P40 Lite in less than an hour and a half.

The software section of the Huawei P40 Lite comes with its EMUI customization layer and the Android base in its tenth version. But even without Google’s services, for the moment the Trump government maintains the blockade on the Asian firm. This doesn’t mean that it won’t have system updates, they will simply have to come from Huawei’s hand and not from Google’s. The connectivity is also up to par, they have everything you’d expect: 4G, WiFi 5, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, USB C-type, and the missing headset port.
