We have been talking about the new iPhone devices for almost a year, and finally, they are now official. The new Apple iPhone is here. The manufacturer of the bitten apple has presented three new iPhones this year, repeating the same strategy as last year. One is iPhone 11, which is the most affordable model in the range and replaces the iPhone XR. This new model has a double camera system, a 6.1-inch LCD screen, a new A13 processor and a glass design more similar to that of its older models.

Apple’s new top-of-the-range models are now iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max. Both models would replace the iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max, respectively, as the flagships of 2019. The most salient new feature is the addition of a triple camera sensor that allows wide-angle photography. Again, the difference between these two models is in the screen size. Both have an OLED panel, while the iPhone Pro is 5.8 inches the iPhone Pro Max goes up to 6.5 inches.

As for the rest of the new features, the two iPhone 11 Pro features the new A13 processor, enhanced image and video processing, longer battery life and an improved Face ID system. However, let’s take a more in-depth look at what the new iPhone comes with iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro, iPhone 11 Pro Max

iPhone 11: The Most Affordable iPhone Range

iPhone 11

Last year Apple launched the iPhone XR, a model specially designed to iPhone range users with less budget. So indeed, it became the most sold iPhone, clearly surpassing its counterparts.

This year, the iPhone 11 has a similar task, bringing exciting features compared to its predecessor. The first is in the design, although, it maintains the 6.1-inch IPS LCD screen, it has a glass at the back just like the previous generation. Also, despite not having the triple camera system, it has kept the square module, we imagine that to look more like the Pro models.

iPhone

iPhone 11 follows in the footsteps of iPhone XR and will be available in different colors, although some designs have been modified. This year there will be six colors to choose from: white, black, yellow, red, green and lavender. These last two colors replace the coral and blue iPhone XR.

Apart from design, there are also crucial new hardware developments. The first and most striking is the incorporation of a double camera system at the rear. It is equipped with a main sensor of 12 megapixels and f/1.8 aperture, as well as an ultra-wide-angle sensor of 12 megapixels but with f/2.4 aperture.

iPhone

We close the camera section with the 12-megapixel front camera, thus finally discarding the 7-megapixel camera used last year. The three models unveiled have the same front camera pixels.

The iPhone 11 features Apple’s new A13 processor. According to the manufacturer’s data, the new Apple processor has two performance cores that run 20% faster and consume up to 40% less battery. Also, four efficiency cores that are 20% faster and consume 25% less. On the other hand, the new GPU is 25% faster and drains 30% less battery than last year’s model.

iPhone

As for the battery life, you all know that Apple never says what the battery capacity of its devices is. However, they have remarked that iPhone 11 offers up to 60 minutes longer battery life than iPhone XR. Also, by switching to the glass back design, iPhone 11 supports wireless charging.

The iPhone 11 will go on sale next September 20 along with other models, although it can be booked from September 13. It will be available in three different storage capacities: 64, 128 and 256 GB. Its price will be 810 euros, 860 euros, and 980 euros respectively.

The New Flagships: iPhone Pro and iPhone Pro Max

iPhone

Two new models have been unveiled that will be the top of Apple’s product range this year. Both share the same features, and the only difference between them is the screen size.

The iPhone 11 Pro comes with a 5.8-inch OLED screen, while the iPhone 11 Pro Max features a 6.5-inch OLED screen. So we have the same sizes we were featured in the iPhone XS and XS Max. However, they are not the same, as the new screens offer higher contrast and a maximum brightness of around 1,200 nits in HDR. Undoubtedly great news for those looking for smartphones with top performance and content size.

iPhone

With a design roughly similar to that of the iPhone XS, the great feature of the new iPhone 11 Pro is the triple rear camera. To the dual 12 megapixel camera we already knew, a third ultrawide 12-megapixel 120-degree sensor has been included. The Camera software can take an image using the three cameras simultaneously and save the three pictures in the gallery so we can choose the viewpoint we like.

The Face ID system has been enhanced to be 30% faster. Now it works from afar, nearer and also from different angles.

iphone 11

While the photographic new features are the most attractive, they are not the only novelties. The A13 chip also powers the new iPhone 11 Pro. This is supported by a third-generation 8-core Neural Engine, which is 20% faster and consumes up to 15% less battery than its previous generation. Furthermore, the CPU integrates two new machine learning accelerators that execute matrix calculations that are up to 6 times faster and can perform more than one billion operations per second.

In terms of battery life, Apple assures that the iPhone 11 Pro has a battery that lasts up to 4 hours longer than the iPhone XS. However, the iPhone 11 Pro Max has a battery life that is 5 hours longer than the iPhone XS Max. Besides, both have fast and wireless charging, able to charge up to 50% in 30 minutes. However, the rumored reverse charge this year is left out again. After all, Apple will supply the iPhone 11 Pro with an 18W adapter.

iphone 11 Pro

All three new iPhones will be available with iOS 13 installed. So, of course, all three iPhone will support Apple Pay.

Both iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max will officially hit the market on Friday, September 20, 2019, but can be booked from September 13. The two models will be available with 128, 256 and 512 GB of internal storage. The iPhone 11 Pro will cost 1,000, 1,100 and 1,200 euros respectively. The iPhone 11 Pro Max will be sold for 1,260, 1,430 and 1,660 euros respectively.
