Screen and Design

iPhone 11 Pro

In regards to size, the Galaxy Note 10 comes with a larger display. With 6.3 inches, its panel has Quad HD+ resolution and a notch like a hole in the screen, occupied by the front camera. Therefore, the mobile phone has more than 90% of the usable area. It is not possible to see edges around the screen. The model has a rectangular shape with square corners and comes with an electronic pen – S-Pen, a tradition of the product line.

The iPhone 11 Pro comes with a 5.8-inch OLED screen, which features a high-contrast technology called Super Retina XDR. In the design, it features slight distinctions of the iPhone X, which initiated the notch.

Camera

Both models feature a triple camera, as Apple has also embraced the trend with its new models. Still, the Galaxy Note 10 is ahead of the iPhone because the combination of sensors was divided into 16MP + 12MP + 12MP (ultra-wide-angle, wide-angle, and telephoto). In 11 Pro, everyone captures 12 MP images.

Galaxy Note 10

Samsung’s new model features image enhancements and effects such as bokeh in animated photos, scene optimizer, and 3D scanner to scan objects and people. It also has enhanced functions such as sound detection when the user is making a video recording and zooming into an audio-emitting element. When this happens, the device will focus on capturing this sound, minimizing external noise.

The iPhone 11 Pro suite can take photos up to 120° in width. Night Mode has also been considerably improved and can capture low light and enhance the picture when the light is poor. The big news, however, is selfies: a mix of animated selfies and slow motion.

At the front camera, the 10-megapixel camera of Galaxy Note 10 loses to the iPhone 11 Pro, as it comes with 12 MP.

Performance and Storage

The iPhone 11 Pro is equipped with Apple’s processor, the A13 Bionic. According to the manufacturer, the new chip features machine learning that increases iPhone performance by 20% while increasing power savings.

Apple does not release RAM numbers, and none of its models have a memory card slot, but the 11 Pro can be purchased with 64GB, 256GB, and 512GB.

For Note 10, the Exynos 9825 processor is manufactured in-house with 7-nanometer technology. This makes the chip smaller and faster to connect between components, which allows the smartphone to be 33% more potent than Note 9.

It comes with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, with the possibility of an additional 1 TB via a MicroSD card.

Battery

Apple does not report the battery capacity of iPhones in detail but reveals its battery life in hours. According to the manufacturer, the iPhone 11 Pro has 4 hours more autonomy than the XS. It also comes with a fast-charging function. The guarantee is that it recovers 50% of the battery in up to 30 minutes, with charger 18W or higher.

The Galaxy Note 10 is equipped with a 3,500 mAh battery configured with artificial intelligence that recognizes the user’s habits and manages energy according to these data, increasing the autonomy of the device.

Both models are compatible with the Qi wireless charging standard.

Additional system and features

Dark Mode is already a reality on iPhone 11 Pro thanks to iOS 13. The new theme features a grayscale and black scale interface that promises to increase phone performance and save battery life. And because it emits less blue light, it doesn’t harm human sleep as much.

The Galaxy Note 10 comes equipped with Android 9 (Pie) that can be upgraded to Android 10. Also, the smartphone comes with Bixby, which works like Apple’s Siri, and the Link To Windows connection, which replicates the phone notifications on the computer with Microsoft system.

Both models have received IP68 certification, so they have proven resistance to both water and dust. But the iPhone 11 Pro seems to exceed the levels of certification due to commercials released by Apple, in which the device is subjected to tests involving vegetables, juices, and even wedding cake.
