Apple announced this week the new mobile phones of the iPhone 12 line with improvements in technical sheet compared to the iPhone 11 series. The iPhone 12 Pro was announced in the United States for prices starting from $999 to succeed the iPhone 11 Pro. Among the novelties are the 5G internet and the A14 Bionic processor, an updated version of the manufacturer’s chip. Check below to know what changes.

Screen, Design, and Colors
The screen is one of the characteristics that mark the difference between the two Apple Devices. Initially, with 5.8 inches on the iPhone 11 Pro, it jumps to 6.1 inches on its successor. Both panels feature OLED technology but differ in resolution. While version 11 Pro brings a resolution of 2436 x 1125 pixels, the release comes with 2532 x 1170 pixels.
The two phones also have an advanced notch to house the front camera and the sensors to perform Face ID, Apple’s facial recognition. The rear camera arrangement in a square in the upper left corner of the device is also the same. The new generation screen glass comes with Ceramic Shield technology. The new component promises to be four times more fall resistant on the iPhone 12 Pro, which also supports two meters more than the iPhone 11 Pro when it’s underwater for up to 30 minutes.
As for colors, you can find the iPhone 12 Pro in blue, gold, graphite, and silver, while the iPhone 11 Pro comes in gold, silver, gray, and green.
Cameras
About the photographic set, the triple camera retained the characteristics of the previous generation. The arrangement in both is divided into ultra-wide, wide, and telephoto lenses, all have 12 MP, as well as the front, which brings the same resolution.

Now the release can only be purchased on the 128 GB, 256 GB, and 512 GB data space models. The last two options were already available on the iPhone 11 Pro, which is marketed in the 64GB, 256GB, and 512GB versions.
Battery
In terms of battery life, comparisons offered by Apple indicate similarities between one generation and another. Both support 11 hours of video streaming playback as well as 65 hours of audio playback. The recharge also completes 50% in 18 minutes on both models. The difference is that on iPhone 12 Pro the company promises 17 hours of video playback, while on the previous model the promise is 18 hours, one hour more.
The iPhone 12 marked Apple’s strategy of no longer including the headphones and plug adapter in the box. The devices now bring only the cable to recharge. Another novelty of the launch is the MagSafe technology, which allows wireless charging using a magnetic charger.
System Version
The iPhone 11 Pro comes with iOS 13 at the factory, while the iPhone 12 Pro already features iOS 14 in the initial settings. However, the previous generation has also received an upgrade to Apple’s latest system. One of the highlights of iOS 13 is the dark mode. The updated version of Apple’s operating system brings widgets, as well as a translation app. Also, improvements were made in tools like Apple Maps, Safari, and Siri.
