iPhone 13: Features, Reviews, and Pricings

The wait is over, Apple has just made official the iPhone 13, along with the iPhone 13 Pro, iPhone 13 mini, Apple Watch Series 7, and the new iPad mini 2021 and iPad 2021. Once again, the company is betting on a mid-range model below the Pro models, but a step above the iPhone 12 mini. The iPhone 13 aims to be the best-seller of the family, by having a relatively tight price and the same power as its older siblings.

The strategy is similar to last year’s: a device of moderate size, with the most powerful processor on the market and a dual-camera system. We tell you all the specifications and features of this iPhone 13.

A small (but important) change in design

iPhone 13

As rumored, the size of the notch is finally reduced by 20%. There are also changes in the distribution of the rear cameras, which are now located diagonally. The panel, according to Apple, is 28% brighter, while maintaining the ability to play content in HDR. It repeats with Full HD+ resolution, 6.1 inches, and OLED technology, with no trace of 120Hz.

The processor is the new Apple A15 Bionic, the new heart of the iPhone 13. It is composed of two high-performance cores and four high-efficiency cores, promising to be 50% faster than its direct competition.

iPhone 13 cinematic mode

At the photographic level, the iPhone 13 once again has two sensors, although with several new features. It has a new sensor, with a larger aperture in the lens and more size than ever before. It inherits the Sensor-Shift technology from the iPhone 12 Pro Max, an optical stabilization system within the sensor itself. Night mode is present on all sensors, so the ultra-wide-angle will also enjoy it.

The cinematic mode also arrives in the video: portrait mode while recording. This technology was already present in some Android phones, although it debuts for the first time in Apple’s high-end.

The battery, one of the weakest points of the iPhone 12, promises significant improvements in this generation. Specifically, it is aimed at 2.5h more compared to the iPhone 13, an important jump of almost three hours more battery compared to its predecessor.
