Lenovo Yoga Slim 7i, QHD Screen on a Laptop Under 14mm Thick

Lenovo has taken advantage of the last days of summer to introduce no less than five new laptops from its Yoga range. Among them is the Lenovo Yoga Slim 7i, which stands out for its lightweight and slim design. It features the latest processors from Intel, a high-resolution screen, and a variety of memory and storage configurations. A device that comes equipped with the latest in connectivity and Lenovo’s best security solutions. It will go on sale in November 2020, but we already know its features and price. Let’s see what the new Lenovo Yoga Slim 7i has to offer.

It Lives Up to Its Name

Lenovo wanted to emphasize that it is a thin and light model by putting the “last name” Slim to this model. The Lenovo Yoga Slim 7i is only 13.9 millimeters thick and weighs 1.23 kg, making it one of the lightest laptops on the market.

It has an anodized aluminum finish, available in dark gray and silver. The manufacturer has provided the equipment with rounded edges, both on the top cover and on the back, thus making it easier to hold the equipment.

To achieve such a thin profile, Lenovo used a specially designed keyboard that offers a satisfying typing experience but with a much lower-key height than usual. The size of the hinge and the frames around the screen have also been reduced.

A screen is one of the key features of this model. The Lenovo Yoga Slim 7i has a 13.3-inch panel with a QHD resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels. This display is capable of covering 100% of the sRGB color space, has a brightness of 300 nits, and even supports Dolby Vision HDR technology.

Inside the computer is the latest processor from Intel. At the moment we know that the manufacturer is going to use 10th-generation processors, but they haven’t specified which models the computer will include.

What we do know is that we will be able to have up to 16 GB of LPDDR4X RAM in Dual Channel configuration and up to 1 TB of SSD PCIe M.2 storage. The technical set will be completed with a battery that will offer us up to 16 hours of autonomy and with a quick charge.

All this is topped off with some premium features that usually include Lenovo, such as speakers with Dolby Atmos technology, an IR camera, a dual microphone, WiFi 6 connectivity, Bluetooth 5.0, and two USB Type C ports compatible with Thunderbolt 4.
