It has not been more than a year since the launch of the K50 and the K40, and today the South Korean company presents the LG K50s and K40s. The new mid-range models arrive as successors to the models presented during this year’s Mobile World Congress, with features that are mostly identical to that of the K40 and K50. The model that interests us this time is the K50s, whose main difference with the most economical model is based on the triple camera, size, and battery.

Design: Keeping the Lines in a Larger Size

There are few differences in the LG K50s design when compared to the K50. Beyond the increase in the size of the device, the lines are practically identical in both gadgets.
The body is made entirely of polycarbonate with MIL-STD 810G to protect against falls and scratches. The K50S has a 6.5-inch screen with HD + resolution and 19.5:9 ratio, a screen that is accompanied by a notch in the form of a drop of water, which helps to obtain more used margins even if it fits.
For the rest, the smartphone maintains the rear location for the fingerprint sensor and the layout of its cameras, which become three this time.
Same Hardware with few Developments
As far as technical features are concerned, the company has not given many details about aspects such as the processor model or the graphics unit. The specifications speak of an eight-core Mediatek processor at 2 GHz frequency, specifications that match the Mediatek Helio P22 processor that we already saw in the LG K50.
This is followed by 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage to expand through SD cards up to 2 TB. The rest of the features consist of a 4,000 mAh battery, a micro USB connection, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC and WiFi a / c.
The Triple Camera reaches the LG Mid-range Phones

The reason for this LG K50s is precisely its camera. Although the manufacturer has not given many details about its characteristics, it is known that it has three independent cameras at the back, that is 13, 5 and 2 megapixels respectively.
While the 5-megapixel sensor has a wide-angle lens, the two cameras use its functions to calculate the distances of the objects to improve the depth of the photographs. The front sensor consists of a single 13-megapixel camera with a focal aperture unknown at the moment.
Price and Availability of the LG K50s
LG K50 is available for sale and it can currently be purchased for a price of around $179 at the time, although it will be necessary to wait for the official confirmation by the company.
