New HP Elitebook 800 Laptop is announced with 11th generation Intel chips

HP EliteBook 800 is HP’s new line of business laptops equipped with Intel’s 11th generation processors and 4G and 5G connection. The products are available in 13″ to 15″ options, all with a Full HD display. The models bring advanced features like artificial intelligence to reduce keyboard noise during videoconferences and a tool for easy data transfer between the computer and mobile phone.

Other notebooks also announced is the new Zbook Firefly, which has a great feature of only 1.3 kg in weight and DreamColor technology that promises better image quality. With a debut scheduled for December in the American market, the EliteBook and Zbook Firefly still has no launch date or price.

The line has four different models available. The first is the EliteBook 830 with a 13.3″ screen, the second is the EliteBook x360 830 with a display of the same size but with touch. There is also the EliteBook 840 with 14″ screen and the EliteBook 850 with 15.6″ screen. The resolution is Full HD in all cases.

In addition to the ability to easily transfer data to a cell phone via HP QuickDrop, notebooks feature artificial intelligence that muffles the sound of the keyboard on video calls. EliteBook also offers versions with slots for nanoSIM chips, which allows 4G and 5G connectivity. Another interesting feature is Tile, which makes it possible to find objects with the Bluetooth locator.

The processors are the new Core i5 and i7 from Intel’s Tiger Lake line, which introduces a new 10 nm architecture (nanometers) and also comes with reinforcement of the new Iris Xe Graphics cards for graphic acceleration. The only exception is the 15.6″ model, which in addition to Intel’s GPU will have versions with Nvidia’s GeForce MX450.

The rest of the technical specifications guarantee up to 64 GB of RAM, NVMe SSD options of up to 2 TB of capacity, Wi-Fi 6, and Bluetooth 5.0. On ports, the new EliteBook will have USB-C with Thunderbolt 4 and DisplayPort support. Also, there are USB 3.1 Type-A, HDMI, and headphone output ports.

Other releases announced by HP were the new ZBook Firefly G8 that arrives promising mobility and performance. The notebooks have options of 14 and 15 inches Full HD. The smaller version has DreamColor technology, which promises to have more contrast and be ideal for working with video and image editing.

For those seeking good performance, the new models have options of Intel Core i5 and Core i7 processors, both of the eleventh generation. The video card is the Nvidia T500, and the RAM is 64 GB DDR4-3200. As a wireless connectivity option, there are Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5. The weight is only 1.3 kg, which according to HP makes Zbook Firefly the lightest mobile workstation in the world. The models have no official price announced, but its launch estimate in the United States is for December.
