Nokia, the firm belonging to HMD, did not want to miss the IFA fair. They have announced the renovation of two of their most exciting devices. The Nokia 6.1 and Nokia 7.1 are renewed with better cameras, more screen, new design, and other more updated features. So are Nokia 6.2 and Nokia 7.2. Find out here all their features and prices.

Nokia modifies the design line of these two new devices. If we compare them with the previous generation, we can see a significant change. The camera is now presented with a rounded shape, an appearance that reminds us a lot of Motorola devices. In this device, which protrudes slightly from the edge, we find a triple-lens accompanied by an LED flash. Just under it is the fingerprint reader, which also has a rounded shape. The back has a crystal finish and shiny tones. The Nokia logo is in the middle, as usual. As these mobile phones also feature Android One, the emblem of this version is also placed on the back.

This back is fused with aluminum frames. They have a matte finish of the same color and are slightly rounded for a better grip. Here there are no differences from previous models: button panel on the right and SIM card tray on the left. The loudspeaker and the connections are located at the bottom. Finally, the front has a notch drop type and a small frame at the bottom, where we also see the company logo. Both devices are identical in design, although colors will vary depending on the model. For example, the Nokia 7.1 will be available in green color, while the 6.2 will come in Grey and black.

Up to 48 Megapixels Camera

We delved into the features of each mobile and focused for the time being on the Nokia 7.2. This mid-range mobile stands out in the photographic section. It has a triple-lens signed by ZEISS, where the primary sensor is equipped with a resolution of 48 megapixels and Quad Pixel technology. It is not the first time that we see a sensor of this magnitude, and devices like the Xiaomi Mi A3, already included in a similar sensor. The secondary camera is 8 megapixels with a wide-angle. Finally, a lens with a depth of field of 5 megapixels is included. The camera consists of different modes, such as an option to take night shots, scene recognition to get the best picture or a more professional portrait mode thanks to ZEISS optics. The Nokia 6.2 has a similarly configured lens, but the primary camera lowers to 16 megapixels instead of 48. The Nokia 7.2’s front camera is 20 MP, while the 6.2 camera stays at 8 megapixels.

We also see differences in the processor and RAM. The Nokia 7.2 is somewhat more powerful, as it includes a Snapdragon 660 processor and 4 or 6 GB of RAM. The 6.2 has a Snapdragon 630 and accompanied by 3 or 4 GB of RAM. In storage, we have 64 GB for the 7.2 and 32 GB for the 6.2. Nokia 6.2 and 7.2 have a 6.3 inch LCD screen with Full HD+ resolution. The company Palma to this screen PureDisplay, as it offers the possibility of applying an HDR mode thanks to an algorithm that scales the pixels through hardware. This technology is called PixelWorks and promises to provide a quality very similar to that of a conventional HDR screen. Both models feature Android 9.0 Pie.
