This is the Realme GT 2 Pro
The first point to highlight at the hardware level with the Realme GT 2 Pro is its new generation 2K screen. It is a panel with QHD+ resolution, 6.7 inches, AMOLED technology, and an adaptive refresh rate from 1 to 120Hz. Depending on the type of content the phone chooses one value or another, promising to improve energy efficiency.
However, the most striking thing is that the panel has a sampling rate of 1,000Hz. This is a value that ensures a fluidity well above the values we usually see (the highest to date were gaming phones with about 600Hz).
The processor is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, accompanied by up to 12 GB of RAM and 512 GB of internal memory. It has a vapor chamber to lower the temperature by up to 3 degrees, especially useful when we are playing. To power the set, we find a 5,000mAh battery with 65W fast charging.
At the photographic level, there are three cameras. The first of them is a 50-megapixel Sony IMX 766 with optical stabilization. The second lens is a 150-degree ultra-wide-angle (more angular than usual) and the third lens is a camera with microlens that allows 40 magnification.
Finally, comment on the curious practice that Realme has done with the design of this phone. The back is covered by a biopolymer based on recyclable materials, laser engraved. The front bezels promise to be just 0.40mm, one of the lowest figures on the market. However, they are not completely symmetrical on all four sides.
The handset comes with Android 12 and Realme UI 3.0, with its gaming modes and not too much intrusion in the layer, to offer a relatively clean experience when using the phone.
