If you thought that Samsung would no longer release more models for the “Galaxy A” range, you were very wrong. The company still has the strength to expand its repertoire with two new devices, which come to reinforce the performance of the Samsung Galaxy A50 and A30, adding the letter “S”. Of the two, the Samsung Galaxy A50s arrives with an all-screen design with a water drop-shaped notch (Infinity-O Display ), as well as an eight-core processor, up to 6 GB of RAM or a 4,000 mAh battery with charge 15W fast.

The new device will be on sale soon, although for the moment the company has not given an exact date or price. Given that the A50 sells for about 260 euros (with 4 GB + 128 GB), it is very likely to come at a similar price. Please keep reading to know all the data we have for the A50s, and you can also read about A30s.

The Samsung Galaxy A50s inherits the design of its older relative, so it includes a protagonist panel without barely frames and water drop shaped notch to house the front camera. Of course, this model will land with an improved design in the rear. According to the company, it will come with a “unique geometric pattern and a futuristic holographic effect”. Again, the main camera is located vertically in the upper left corner. The back of the phone is quite clean, without missing the Samsung logo presiding over the center.

As for the screen size, the A50s does not change from the standard model and still has a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED and Full HD + resolution. Inside there is space for an eight-core processor, working at a speed of up to 2.3 GHz. This SoC goes hand in hand with 4 or 6 GB of RAM and a storage of 64 or 128 GB (expandable by using microSD cards up to 512 GB).

One of the most significant changes of the A50s when looking at the A50 is found in the photographic section. This new device includes a triple sensor of higher resolution: 45 + 5+ 8 megapixels instead of the 25 + 5 + 8 megapixels of the A50. This is a noticeable improvement in the primary lens, which will allow us to enjoy better quality shots. Also, the front camera raises from 25 megapixels to 32 megapixels.  For the rest, the Samsung Galaxy A50s also has a 4,000 mAh battery with a 15W fast charge, Android 9 Pie system and a fingerprint reader under the panel.

Price and Availability

For now, we do not know when the company will launch the Galaxy A50s. We know that the device will be available in four colors: Prism Crush Black, Prism Crush White, Prism Crush Green, and Prism Crush Violet.
