SAMSUNG GALAXY FIT2

This watch when used has countless functions, both for sportsmen and women and for those who are not so sports-oriented. Also, its design is not out of place, and at first glance, it appears to be a conventional watch. So what’s the problem? The price. Buying a $469 smartwatch is difficult to justify. And so it makes more sense that Samsung invests in more competitive devices such as the Samsung Galaxy Fit2. Although we do not yet know the price, most likely it will not reach the figures we have mentioned.

Among the features of the Samsung Galaxy Fit2, there is an AMOLED screen with a certain curvature to better integrate into the chassis. As for the size of the screen, it’s 1.1 inches and, of course, it’s tactile. The construction is made of plastic and therefore will withstand the daily wear and tear when doing sports, but it also comes with certifications for water and dust, specifically IP68 so it will be possible to submerge it for water exercises. And, if you have any inconvenience when wearing watches or bracelets due to their weight, keep in mind that in this case it is 21 grams and therefore it should not be a problem to wear it.

When it comes to sweating, the Samsung Galaxy Fit2 can record up to five different types of exercise. While it records the exercises it can display information related to the activity you are doing: calories burned, heart rate, and distance traveled. All this data will be synchronized with your smartphone using Bluetooth 5.0 or WiFi ac. Compatibility is extensive, in Android you will need at least Android 5.0 Lollipop, and in iOS, devices with iOS 10.0 or higher.

Price and Availability

Samsung has not made price or availability data official. Before we anticipated that it would be more competitive than the Samsung Galaxy Watch 3 and this is because of the history in terms of activity bracelets that Samsung has. The most likely is that given its characteristics, the price moves between $40 for the Galaxy Fit 2 and $100 for the Galaxy Fit. Let’s hope that if it exceeds the latter figure, it won’t do so for long, since right now the market has the Xiaomi Smartband 5 as the spearhead in terms of the price-performance ratio of this type of product.
