When it launched the Samsung Galaxy S20 FE 5G it said it would not be the last Fan Edition device to hit the market, and so it has. The Korean company has announced the Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 FE 5G, a tablet that they claim “offers the brand’s fan-favorite features” at a more affordable price.
Among the most striking features are the 12.4-inch TFT display (curious that it is not AMOLED), the S-Pen (included in the box), and Samsung Dex. The device will be available for purchase from June 18 for a price starting at €649 for the most basic version. Introductions were done, let’s get to know it better.

Huge TFT screen compatible with S-Pen
We start with the aesthetic section and is that the new Samsung tablet retains the design lines of her older sisters. It has a metallic finish, a fairly slim profile, and a relatively lightweight for a tablet of this size. After all, it is 6.3 millimeters thick and weighs 608 grams.
For the display, Samsung has foregone AMOLED panels and opted for a 12.5-inch TFT panel with WQXGA resolution (2,560 x 1,600 pixels). The panel is stretched to the corners, although the bezels are still present. It is compatible with the S-Pen, so we can use it to write, take notes and interact with the screen.
One of the aspects that we liked most about the Tab S7+ was the sound, and in its new model, Samsung wanted to continue enhancing it. Precisely for this reason, it has implemented two stereo speakers (one on each side) compatible with Dolby Atmos. The sound, of course, is signed by AKG.
5G and 10,090 mAH battery
We thus move on to review the engine. The Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 FE 5G Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 5G mounts a Snapdragon 750 5G processor (a relatively recent SoC launched by Qualcomm) along with four or six gigabytes of RAM and 64 or 128 GB of internal storage expandable with microSD cards. This processor is not only well served with power, but also supports 5G networks.
All this is given life by a 10,090 mAh battery that, according to Samsung, lasts up to 13 hours watching videos. It mounts, in turn, a fast-charging system that, in the words of Samsung, can fully charge it in about 90 minutes. The operating system is Android with One UI and comes loaded with features such as Samsung Dex and Multi-Galaxy.
Otherwise, the device mounts an eight-megapixel main camera and a five-megapixel front camera and supports GPS, WiFi ac, Bluetooth 5.0, and PC Sync. It lacks NFC and WiFi 6.
Pricing and Availability of the Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 FE 5G
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 FE 5G will be available for purchase from June 18 in Black and Silver color (black and silver). It will be priced at €649 for the 4/64 GB version and €699 for the 6/128 GB model. Both include the S-Pen.
