Does the rotating bezel return?

The answer is no, the bezel does not return. However, Samsung has taken a similar system out of its sleeve. The Samsung Galaxy Watch Active2 has a digital rotating frame. In this way, the rotating touch frame, included in the Super AMOLED curved screen, rotates in both directions to facilitate the user’s control of the clock. Besides, the One UI interface has also improved, is now simpler and clearer.

To better adapt to any type of user, Samsung has decided to launch two different watch sizes. One has a 44mm sphere, with a 1.4-inch screen, and the other has a 40mm sphere and a 1.2-inch screen. Both have the same resolution, 360 x 360 pixels.

Also, we have two different styles: one in light aluminum with a casual fluoroelastomer (FKM) strap and another in stainless steel with a leather strap. Both models can be customized with a range of additional options for a much more elegant strap and watch face.

They are still perfect for Athletes

Although they have become more elegant, they are still ideal devices for athletes. The Samsung Galaxy Watch Active2 can manually track more than 39 workouts, with seven of them automatically integrated. It also incorporates new health sensors at the back, which take readings much faster. It includes a heart rate monitor (with 8 Photodiodes), electrocardiogram (ECG), accelerometer (measures up to 32g of force), gyroscope, and barometer.

On the other hand, the Samsung Galaxy Watch Active2 can monitor stress levels in real-time through Samsung Health. And precisely for stress, Samsung has integrated the Calm application to provide access to guided meditation programs. The watch will also help us achieve much healthier sleep patterns thanks to improved sleep analysis.

Good Connectivity and Integration with the Galaxy Ecosystem

If you choose the model with 4G connectivity we can make and receive calls freely from the clock. Also, connect to social networks and even watch short videos directly from the wrist. Also, the Samsung Galaxy Watch Active2 now supports voice and text translation in real-time in more than 16 languages.

On the other hand, Samsung has also partnered with Spotify so we can log in to our Samsung account on the clock and browse the music we have in the famous streaming service. So we can control and listen to music directly with the clock, without using the mobile.

As part of the Galaxy family, the new Samsung Galaxy Watch Active2 will be the ideal companion for our Galaxy mobile. For example, with the Watch Controller, we can take photos, start recording a video, preview the images on the watch, switch between the front and rear lenses, set a timer, and check the final result of the photo or video, all from the wrist. We can also use the wireless charging of our mobile to charge the watch easily.

And, of course, we can use all the services that Samsung mobile phones have, such as Samsung Health, SmartThings, Samsung Pay or Bixby. For example, we can use Bixby to navigate the clock, start a workout or watch the weather.
