Xiaomi has a new laptop. This time, the company is dropping the Pro name to show us a new member of the NoteBook family with a 14-inch screen. This is a device with an aluminum body and a weight of 1.35 kilograms, making it one of the lightest models.
This is the Xiaomi Mi NoteBook 14, which comes in several versions depending on the processor and graphics it incorporates. As usual in the company, the specification-price ratio is very good. This laptop will become the preferred option for those who are looking for a compact laptop, with good features and enough power to play casual games or do office tasks.

14-inch screen and up to 10 hours of battery life
The Xiaomi Mi Notebook 14 features a 14-inch IPS panel with FullHD resolution. According to the company, it offers a 91% screen ratio, delivering 14 inches in a body traditionally reserved for 13″ laptops.
There is no major design change in the aluminum body. At the lower part, there is a spacious multi-touch trackpad and in the middle part, there is a keyboard with a scissor mechanism and keys with 1.3mm of travel.
In total, the Mi NoteBook 14 weighs 1.35 kg. Slightly more than the 1.29kg of the MacBook Air (2020) and the 1.27kg of the Dell XPS 13, with 13.3 and 13.4″ displays respectively.
Xiaomi offers two variants of its new notebook: the “Horizon Edition” which offers the most compact body and access to the most advanced processor and a standard version, with a screen ratio of 81.2% and a weight of 1.5 kg.
Both models offer Windows 10 Home Edition and some software additions. These include the Mi Share option for quick file sharing from your mobile phone and Mi Blaze Unlock, which allows you to unlock your laptop when you have your phone or bracelet close by.
They come with a 46 Wh battery that promises up to 10 hours of autonomy and a 65W charger that promises to complete the battery at 50% in 35 minutes. At the connection level, the Mi NoteBook 14 incorporates two USB 3.1 ports, a USB 2.0 port, full HDMI, and 3.5mm jack. Additionally, the Horizon Edition comes with USB Type C connectivity. Both models feature 2x2W stereo speakers.
Inside the new laptop, we find 10th generation Intel Core processors. The standard model is based on an Intel Core i5-10210U processor together with 8GB of DDR4 RAM at 2666MHz. Here you have the option of betting on an integrated graphics or incorporate the GeForce MX250.
For the Horizon version, an Intel Core i7-10510U processor is added, along with 8GB of RAM and the GeForce MX350 graphics. As for storage, Xiaomi offers a 512 GB PCI Express Gen 3 SSD, although the Mi NoteBook 14 version is also offered with 256 GB.
Mi Notebook Versions and Prices
The new Mi NoteBook has been launched in India and will be available from June 17th. Its availability in other markets is not known at the moment. The notebook will be available in the standard version and the Horizon Edition version, with a more compact design.
