The Chinese mobility giant has not been satisfied today with presenting its new Xiaomi 12 and Xiaomi 12 Pro cell phones and has also taken the opportunity to launch other devices such as its new smartwatch, the Xiaomi Watch S1.
This watch, with a circular design, opts for a more classic and elegant design, yet careful because that does not prevent it from becoming an interesting partner for any of the 117 sports activities that it supports -although we are still without paddle-.

Combining design and sport
Unlike other more casual and sporty watches like the Xiaomi Mi Watch, this Xiaomi Watch S1 is a smartwatch with a design aimed at users who bet more on that more classic and elegant style that brings this product.
The 1.43-inch screen has a remarkable diagonal, and on the right side, there are two physical buttons to control the various functions.
In that design, you can choose between leather or silicone (Viton) straps, which will differentiate the two variants (and prices) available. While the leather straps are leather-colored and blue, the rubber strap is black and matches that black case also in that version.
Xiaomi has not given too many details yet about the specifications of a device that, yes, has support for 117 sports modes.
Among them are various water modes thanks to its IP68 certification that ensures that it is submersible and therefore we can use it for swimming.
Xiaomi managers have also indicated that it is possible to make and receive calls directly from the watch thanks to its Bluetooth connectivity.
Autonomy is another of its highlights: according to the manufacturer, the Xiaomi Watch S1 is capable of running for 12 days with typical use, and up to 24 days with the battery saving mode.

The new Xiaomi Watch S1 will be available for the moment in China, and we have no data yet on its future and potential availability in other countries. The prices of the models will be as follows:
