ZTE LiveBuds: Features, Reviews, and Price

There is a growing supply of fully wireless headphones (TWS) with some kind of noise cancellation and with a slightly tighter price tag. ZTE is also getting into this racket and in the middle of the week of CES 2021 announces its ZTE LiveBuds, a headset with the now more than familiar design with an external bar that starts at a price below $40.

This is a project that is not as advanced as the Huawei FreeBuds Pro and similar headphones, seeking to give a plus to those who fall below in performance. They have environmental noise cancellation and are compatible with iOS and Android.

Lightweight and microphones for cancellation

ZTE LiveBuds

They explain in ZTE that with the environmental cancellation system the ZTE LiveBuds eliminate 90% of the environmental noise. This is achieved thanks to the two high-definition microphones integrated inside.

Although they do not give all the specifications and for now we do not know the full weight of the headphones with the case, each one of them weighs 4 grams, being a weight within the average (something lighter than other models such as the HONOR Magic Earbuds). As we said, the design they have is typical in this format of earphones, with a bar-shaped protrusion that that is short and thick in this case, although the important thing in the interaction is the surface to control them by touch.

The autonomy that ZTE LiveBuds promise is four hours, adding the one provided by the case, 20 hours. The connectivity is produced with Bluetooth 5.0 and has AAC decoding to reduce latency (without giving the data of milliseconds).
